Emancipation of enslaved african americans in the us is's a day of reflection celebration and progress by sharing this episode today I want to honor their legacy of juneteenth and highlight the importance of representation, empowerment and fostering dreams in the heart of our children you see because of my ancestors I've been able to accomplish things that I'm not sure. They ever even imagine and although I don't have kids personally I want to make sure my nieces and soon to be born nephew understand the world that is ahead of them and sees themselves thriving in it in today's digital age children are already interacting with Ai in various forms like. They ask virtual assistance for information they play games with Ai driven characters. My niece loves roleblox and minecraft and all these other things they talk to Alexa and okay Google and they even engage with educational ai tools Ai is literally becoming a part of their everyday lives.

However, it's also a city of disparities where many children face challenges and limited opportunities I recall a powerful story about a young girl. Um, that was in 1 of the volunteering programs that I participate in. She would cross a university campus every day on her way to school but she never imagined herself stepping foot inside those halls now imagine that someone walking across a campus every day not thinking. It was a place where they could actually um, be or see themselves in the future. It was through the unwavering support of her parents and mentors that she was able to break through those barriers and attend to college. She once never even thought of but I just want you all to really understand how it's so important for us to ensure that the narratives that we share with our kids reflect their dreams and aspirations of all children. Representation matters and it's crucial to show kids early on the limitless possibilities of who they can become especially with the right support system and the right people showing them who they are. We cannot allow the media or societal biases to define their identities and limit their dreams. We know many of us still dealing with issues from our childhood right? Someone says something else.
